Rocky Ridge Sugar Makers

We are Vermont Sugarmakers, Michael and Sheila Trudeau.  We have been working in the maple business for over 30 years.  For the past 19 years we have owned and operated the Rocky Ridge Sugarmakers maple farm.  We are located along the Canadian border in North Berkshire, Vermont.  Our 100-acre woodlot is equipped with 5,000 taps at the present time.  We produce quality maple products at reasonable prices. The season begins in February when we tap the trees and ready the lines for the first run.  Our first boil depends on Mother Nature but is usually around the first week of March.  If the temperature at night is below freezing and the days are sunny and above 40 degrees, we can produce the liquid gold.  The season could be as short as a few days or as long as a month to 6 weeks.
